Gentle Yoga is being offered online, with one final, in-person class to be scheduled at the arts center in mid-November. You must have Zoom to participate for all other classes. This class will be both a one-on-one experience with Marsha and a great opportunity to connect with other students with similar interest. Add a few more tools to your stress reduction toolkit during these challenging times! Come find your Zen through a series of gentle yoga stretches combined with breathing techniques designed to release tension and encourage peace of mind. Gentle yoga can also increase flexibility, build strength, and improve overall health and vitality. All students are encouraged to listen to their bodies and go at their own pace. The class provides a safe and supportive environment, so you can feel comfortable to begin taking an active role in your own growth and healing. Yoga is also great for better posture and balance, pain relief, and weight management.
Marsha Rudolph, MA, RYT, has been teaching breath awareness for the last 30 years and yoga for the last 19 years. Her specialty is working with people who may feel too intimidated to take a more challenging yoga class, especially those who may be struggling with their weight, have some physical limitations, are at midlife or beyond, or just want a class of gentle stretching and postures to increase flexibility or complement a more vigorous exercise routine. Marsha works as a Community Health Educator at Capital Health System.
