Get ready for a new ArtWalk, featuring all your favorite activities from years past, but at a new time and with more fun things to do!
So grab your sneaks, and your friends and family, and head over to West Windsor Arts on May 31, starting at 4 pm, for an early evening stroll around the neighborhood (or a brisk walk, if you prefer!), live music, and lots of games, prizes, and fun.
This year’s event features a carnival vibe to get you into a summertime mood. We even have a popcorn machine!
ArtWalk is a day for your mind, body and community spirit! Here’s what you can expect:
Make ArtWalk your own! You can sit back and relax, even do a meditation, or jump right into a fitness challenge—or both. ArtWalk is for everyone.
Take a One-Mile Family Fun Walk—Pick up a goodie bag and a map of the walking route, and head out on a scavenger hunt to earn an activity token. Back at the art center, more tokens can be earned by participating in our fitness games. Use them later for art projects, prizes, face painting and more!
Enjoy Live Entertainment—Take in a showcase of local musicians organized by Vasanti Anand.
Get in a Workout—Challenge yourself to take your fitness to the next level with F3, or get in a dance workout with Shivani Badgi. It’s all good! And good for you.
Be Creative—Make painted rocks for the Kindness Rocks garden, decorate a sneaker keychain, paint a sculpture, or join Mikel Cirkus at the graffiti wall for a collaborative art project.
Express Yourself—With a little help from our henna artists and face painters.
Release Your Stress—Get a five-minute massage from Hand and Stone East Windsor.
Know Your Blood Pressure Numbers—Medical students from Robert Wood Johnson will be on hand to explain what your blood pressure numbers mean, and why it’s important to stay informed.
Place Your Bids—Our exciting Silent Auction is open for bidding and features items that have been donated by local businesses to support our cause. This is your chance to grab some amazing deals on local food, wine, entertainment and more!
Visit Our Sponsors—Several of our sponsors will be on hand with activities and information to share about their services to the community.
ArtWalk is an important fundraiser for the arts center, at a time when small nonprofits rely on support to continue providing programs and services to their communities.
The arts are for everyone, and your support allows us to offer our community concerts, community service days, summer camps for kids, and resources and exposure for local artists.
We thank the generous sponsors who help us bring creativity, connection and inspiration to our community all year long.
