West Windsor Arts is thrilled to collaborate with HomeFront, as they use the therapeutic power of art to inspire and transform the lives of their clients through the creative process.
The Art of Belonging is a multi-media exhibition that explores themes of inclusion, dignity, and our shared human worth. Incorporating the voices and talents of artists who have experienced homelessness and poverty, Home: The Art of Belonging reflects the personal and collective need for connection. Through a powerful collection of art and poetry, the exhibition illustrates that belonging is more than just a physical space; it is about feeling seen, valued, and included.
Home: The Art of Belonging aims to raise awareness of the barriers between social classes, highlight our shared human experiences of and need for belonging, and foster empathy. These themes are captured and expressed daily in Homefront’s therapeutic ArtSpace program. ArtSpace works directly with the unhoused and families experiencing poverty across its two studio locations in Mercer County, providing a creative outlet for those in need.
